So sometime in October I'm supposed to attend my neighbors wedding. I don't really know what I'm going to wear so I've basically come up with a few dresses that appeal to me.
This first one is from Forever 21. I tried it on the last time I was there and decided not to buy it. In all honesty I kinda regret not getting it and it's been on my mind ever since. I think it would be perfect for a fall wedding especially with the right colored tights and a cardigan.

I was also thinking about this dress, which is currently on sale at
http://axparisusa.com/ I'm not as in love with this one, however I must admit that I really like this print and for the price I find it hard to pass up.
This last dress is actually on that I already bought. I found it at TJ Maxx on sale and I just couldn't pass it up!I love the silhouette and cut out in the front.
What to do, what to do? There are so many adorable choices and so few occasions to wear them to!

Sunday morning down time.
Sometimes I like to day dream about what my future home will look like. I don't image the building, more like the adorable stuff I can put in it. Target carries a lot of items from the Fred and Friends line which is one of my favorite lines because of all the quirky stuff they carry. http://www.worldwidefred.com/home.htm

I'm not looking for a new place any time soon, but it's fun to look at all the amazing possibilities.

Another pair added to the family
So the other day Tara and I went to go visit Sally again at work, I swear we don't normally do this, I just always find something when I go there! Anyway I was looking at the shoes and I came across a pair of Minnetonka moccasin boots! To those who don't know, I love Minnetonka shoes. They're unbelievably comfortable and I honestly own waaay to many pairs, anyway they were around $60ish which is kind of expensive, but in reality in any other store they would have been around $80 something, so go me.
And on another shoe note, last week I found the Steve Madden boots I'd been looking for. They are unbelievably comfortably and I couldn't be happier. I also tried on the Blowfish boots, but they just weren't what I thought they would be, besides I'm all booted out for now. Maybe some other time if there's and incredible deal or something, you never know :)

Tropical storm Irene
These past two weeks have been pretty chaotic. Tropical storm Irene hit New York and my county experienced a large amount of devastation. My area was under so much water, that many of the houses have been condemned. Fortunately my family and friends are safe. I have a home and, although, I lost my car I'm glad to have all of the things I do because I know that there are people that are worse off than me and I am truly fortunate.
A small gift shop that experienced quite a bit of damage.
A small strip mall down the street from my house.
My sister and I trying to trudge our way back home.
My poor car :(
All in all it's been a crazy few weeks. Hopefully things will start going back to normal and I'll be able to get back to the usual.
